The legal sector is undergoing a digital transformation, with integrations becoming an integral part of modern law firms. By streamlining processes and ensuring compliance, these integrations are driving efficiency and improving client experiences. The Verify 365 and Clio integration is a prime example of this trend, offering a powerful solution for law firms of all sizes.
At Verify 365, we understand the common and often daily challenges firms face when trying to meet their compliance and due diligence obligations. These challenges and the need for change were the driving force behind the creation of the innovative AML, KYC & client onboarding platform you know today as Verify 365. After seeing the need for enhancement in the sector, we designed and ensured that Verify 365 can smoothly integrate with market-leading case management systems, such as Clio. The integration between both platforms ensures you meet compliance regulations, streamline your processes and improve efficiency and client experience.
In this article, you’ll discover how the integration works and exactly what it means for your firm and why you should be taking advantage of such technological integrations that are elevating the legal sector.
How Do I Set Up The Verify 365 and Clio Integration?
It couldn’t be easier integrating Verify 365 and Clio. Below is a step-by-step guide to integrating these two revolutionary legal technology platforms:
The integration process begins in the Verify 365 dashboard. On the left of the Verify 365 dashboard, there will be a tab called ‘Integrations’. In there, you will be able to see your current integrations as well as integrations that are available to you, including Clio. From here, you click on Clio, and this will take you to a page where you need to enable access.
Once you’ve clicked allow access, you will be redirected to the Verify 365 login page. Complete the quick and simple login process, head back to the integrations section, and as if by magic, Clio will be listed under your current integrations.
We’ve ensured this process doesn’t need to be completed by an IT department and that any fee earner is able to create a centralised hub for their own workflows and operations.
How Do I Initiate Checks Through Clio?
The process of initiating checks through Verify 365 via Clio has also been designed to be as simple as possible:
Find the contact – The check process begins at the contact level. In Clio, search for the contact you would like to send verification checks to.
Choose the check – Once on your client’s page, you’ll see a new drop-down on the right that says ‘more actions‘. This drop-down will give you a list of options, including AML and lite checks. KYB is also included on the list if your contact is a business.
Choose verification checks – Once you have chosen the preferred option in the list, you’ll be directed to an invitation page where you will be able to choose the verification types your contact needs to complete. You can request your client to complete a variety of verifications, including a biometric ID check, an address check, and a source of funds check.
Send the invite – Now that you’ve clicked the verifications you would like your client to complete, there will be a button below which says ‘send invite’. Your client will then receive the verification checks to complete via the Verify 365 app.
Access client report – Once your client has completed their verification checks, you can access a report via your client’s contact page on Clio under ‘documents’.
