Yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending the 2024 EA Masters, which took place at Evolution London. The event offered the perfect opportunity for me to connect with leading figures within the estate agents’ circle and the property sector, where Verify 365 is building a solid presence.
The event was packed with insightful conversations, inspirational keynote speeches from industry leaders and the opportunity to network and connect with property experts and innovators as well as some of our new and current partners across the property sector.
This year’s EA Masters began with a buzzing exhibition, which gave me the opportunity to meet different agencies and experts as well as listen to people’s stories and discuss their journeys and experiences so far. It’s clear to me that individuals within the property sector are keen on building connections and see the value in creating a solid network of trusted partnerships.
The event continued with the leadership conference, where several industry leaders gave insightful keynote speeches about various topics within the property sector. These were valuable and certainly gave me plenty to take away and think about moving forward. A topic in particular that was at the forefront of the discussions was AI. We know the property sector is evolving, with innovative technology becoming the norm for agencies and conveyancing firms looking to be more effective, and AI plays a significant part in this. AI and technology are not just for helping estate agents and conveyancers streamline and improve efficiency, but they can also enhance the overall client experience, and through my own experiences, this plays a crucial role in maintaining strong relationships.
Another important topic that dominated the discussions was, of course, anti-money laundering (AML) and identity fraud. Given the fine intricacies of property transactions, it’s important that estate agents and conveyancers have effective measures to combat money laundering, verify their clients’ identities, validate source of funds, and report suspicious activity to the correct authorities. Development in technology across the sector is helping combat these challenges and tackle identity and financial fraud head-on, meaning the due diligence process is much smoother while also ensuring estate agents and conveyancers fulfil their legal and compliance obligations.
The EA Masters concluded with the awards ceremony to recognise the incredible people who have elevated the property sector and made a difference over the last twelve months. I’d like to take the opportunity to congratulate all the winners and thank them for their continued efforts to change the industry for the better.
To celebrate another success, over the last 12 months, conveyancers and estate agents around the country have been reaping the rewards of integrating our AML, KYC & client onboarding platform, Verify 365, into their onboarding processes. Our proprietary, award-winning technology ensures firms can validate their clients’ identity documents and analyse the source of funds data involved in property transactions, which is becoming a hot topic in the sector right now.
I’m proud to say our platform is elevating the property sector to ensure firms have access to viable, efficient technology that can transform their overall processes by creating efficient, seamless workflows and enabling you to practice compliantly within the regulatory guidelines.
